New York City it is Friday and Fleet Week is in full force. New Yorkers are greeting our soldiers in uniform and enjoying the day with bagels and ice cream from the corner roach coach silver food box talking about the Facebook stock to the train schedule. Since I always follow what fascinates me, I had the pleasure to interview bodybuilder Jorge “The Lion” Barbero from Bilbao Spain. Jorge peaked my interest because he represents bodybuilding with respect and integrity and strives to build on the sport. Bodybuilding and fitness has always been a huge part in Jorge’s life and here is an unedited version of the five minute interview with THE LION.

IFBB PRO AL AUGUSTE ON MUSCLE TALK 101 RADIO

IFBB PRO Al Auguste was on Muscle Talk 101 Radio last night talking about plans for next year for the 202 athlete. He talked about the hard work he put into winning the Tampa Show and being on the Olympia stage in September. This was a big year for Al and everything he could ever wish for. Talking to Al Auguste was such an honor for me for several reasons:

1. He is a determined hardworking young man
2. He loves the sport of bodybuilding
3. He never forgot where he came from ( Port-Au-Prince, Haiti)
4. He is a down to earth person
5. He knows what needs to be done to be a champion
6. He lives a normal life, working a 9-5 job and still dedicate his life to bodybuilding

He lost a lot of family and friends in the Earthquake (HAITI) and he dedicated his win to them. New York City loves 202 Al Auguste and they see him as a champion. The people of New York Haitians, Jamaicans, Hispanics our beautiful melting pot that follows the sport loves Al Auguste and see him as a strong athlete. The tragic earthquake that happened in Haiti never left Al Auguste’s heart, but it made him a stronger athlete to move up in the ranks. Al wants to win next year and he said that he will do whatever that needs to be done to make this happen.

John had released the following statement in response to the fake Facebook profile: "And lastly, it was brought to my attention last night that for the past 4 months there has been an imposter named Robert Willis posing as me.....John Quinlan on Facebook. He has used one of my images as his main profile photo and is using it to make friends on there, as well as putting a dozen of my model images that he is saying are him in his albums. Not to mention there are sexual explicit comments on some of the images which was very insulting to me. Insulting to me that someone would steal my identity on facebook, pretend to be me to make friends, steal my model images and put them in his own albums to pretend to others that he is John Quinlan, pretend to be me for his own self gratification at my expense. Robert Willis is pathetic!
