The 2012 Olympia raised questions last night

Watching the Olympia last night taught me a lot about size does matter and it is possible to look better last year and not that good this year and still be a threat.  I was shocked of the major changes that Branch Warren made to his body by having a smaller waist. That must have taken a lot out of him to achieve that. I have never seen Branch with a smaller waist until last night.  People have often said that Branch Warren look blocky and that was his problem.  I guess he changed their minds, but now what else is wrong?  Hidetada Yamagishi looked amazing last night, but from I got out of watching the show is that he may still be too small. Is height a factor in his placing?  if so why?  The judges placed him 10th place twice before and  here is the real question, what are they going place him at this year?

I felt so bad for Dennis Wolf only because you could see the disappointment on his face like he knew he was not going to do well.  You could almost see defeat on his face and it's like he decided  " Hey I lost and now I just want to finish this and go home. " But then again, you never know he may have that warrior in him to fight tonight.

I see Phil Heath still looking good, but in my opinion he didn’t look as good as he did last year.  Don't get me wrong, He has a huge chance of winning and taking it home again.  In regards to Kai Greene, Well Kai Greene has one of the best bodies in the league and it makes me wonder if his past has a lot to do with him not winning. What do I know right?  Tonight he may be a runner up or Shawn Rhoden the silent beast might be the runner up as well.  Shawn Rhoden has the body of the old Flex Wheeler back in the day in my opinion and Evan Cetaponi surprised me a great deal only  because he was so unexpected to be 98% of most guys on stage.

I was surprised Dexter made it on the first call out.  This is his 44th time being in the top 6 and that’s incredible especially because he is in his forties. I thought they we were going call Toney Freeman out and that also shocked me.  Ben Pakulski looked great and he stood out among the others  a little bit. I expected more out of Ben in his conditioning.  The only thing I’m going to look for his

1) If Phil will win again?

2) If Kai Greene will be the runner up

3) Will Hidetada Yamagishi get out of the ten spot

4) Will Branch Warren be in the top 5 for his small waist

5) Will Evan Centaponi and Shawn Rhoden move up in the ten spot

6) Will Dennis Wolf have a respectable placing

7) Where is Johnnie Jackson going to place because his legs were not hot at all

8) Will Dexter beat Toney Freeman in conditioning, because at the Return of the Legends Show, Dexter was the fan fave and won the whole thing.

We will see tonight and tune in for tonights show on Bodybuilding.com free webcast.
