Its a shame that James Debarge is in jail for nonsense. James Debarge has so much talent that he may even surpass El Debarge and Chico in some areas. When Debarge first came out with James in the group, you never really heard James that much because he blended with the rest of the family. James is not just a pretty face he has such a beautiful voice and a lot to say in his lyrics. It angers me that he keeps getting into trouble in the streets. James does not belong in the streets and it bothers me that he will not do anything to help himself, not even for his beautiful children. Shouldnt someone take responsibility for James Debarges pain and why he does what he does. It hate to say it but it always leads to the parents........
Once you hurt a child, it carries forever in life and in most cases it cannot be healed or forgiven. As a mother, how can you allow your husband to abuse your children emotionally and sexually. I dont care what age, race or whatever you are, that should not be allowed at all. Children are the most precious things in this world and to watch a child fall down off a bike effects you and it makes you run to them to help. How can you watch a your spouse beat and sexually abuse your children. Then there mother continue to have more children that ended up being victims of Robert Debarge Sr.
Bobby Debarge ( the eldest) was the most talented DEBARGE in the whole family. His voice can never ever be forgotten. Bobby's voice can never ever be duplicated and we miss him so. Bobby Debarge died of AIDS and it was such a blow to all of us that are and still fans of Bobby Debarge. I still cant believe that BOBBY Debarge is dead and I keep asking myself where was I when the DEBARGE family was suffering with drugs the way they were. I never heard it in the news or newspapers and such.
I just heard a 2007 song by James Debarge "I GOTTA KNOW" and I was so shocked by James voice that it blew me away. I heard the songs on James Debarge MYSPACE and all song 4 songs I heard were 100% excellent. It is a damn shame what happened to him and I wish that he would take a chance and clean his act up and return to his music.
I never knew that EL DEBARGE was suffering with drugs as well. Thats was the biggest shock and again I asked myself "WHERE WAS I" when this played on the news. BUNNY DEBARGE is a success story and I am so happy for her. She looks like the old BUNNY when she started with DEBARGE and I am so happy she found the LORD JESUS CHRIST. GOOD FOR YOU BUNNY and I hope you keep the faith and may GOD be your parent because he is the only one you can trust. I remember RANDY DEBARGE's opening for "I LIKE IT" no one can sing that verse better than RANDY. RANDY has troubles too.... Randy looked like the sensible one and I couldnt believe he got hit too. MARK shocked me the most and I am so sorry that he got arrested as well. None of them seem like the type to do this thats why I was baffled by this whole drug and prostitution thing.
Honestly the LORD made them forgive..... I would never have anything to do with the mother. I would let her rot and I wouldnt let my children near her. If I was BUNNY ( Especially Bunny) I wouldnt talk to her at all. She has to answer to GOD when she passes, GOD will ask her why she allowed this to happen to her beautiful children. They should pass a law that if one parent is an abuser and the other doesnt do anything about it, The other parent must go to jail with the abuser.
Thats just my opinion and I am sticking to it. She is the cause of her children depending on drugs because she didnt do anything or not enough.
After when DEBARGE was done in the late 80's, James could have continued and get signed to a label. JAMES, EL, CHICO could have continued forever and BUNNY and RANDY could have wrote for them. See, that would have been the plan if things were right with them then. They could have written for each other and made money on royalties and concerts ( kept the money in the family).

I hope when James get out, He clean himself up and gain weight and live a healthy life. He is such a talent and he can live the remaining years of his life just making music. He can make music his drug.

james debarge is a pedifile rapist and is under investigation in grand rapids where two people filed a child molestation report on him for molesting his son...he needs to keep being overlooked. .....god protect the children.
